Job Description
American Commercial Barge Line (ACBL) is seeking a Safety, Training, and Marine Assurance Systems Manager to lead the administration of safety data systems and training records. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain data accuracy and integrity.

Requirements

  • Maintains the accuracy and integrity of all training records within the Learning Management System and safety data within the Safety Data System.
  • Responsible for the accuracy, security, and accessibility of the Safety Management System.
  • Develops and maintains training compliance and safety performance reports, regulatory audits, and internal reviews.
  • Participates in analysis of safety and training data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for performance improvement.
  • Ensures all regulatory reporting is accurately completed and delivered on time.
  • Provides system support during implementation of new safety or training programs.
  • Administers and oversees vessel Team Member advancement tracking, ensuring qualification progressions, required training completions, and advancement eligibility are accurately documented, monitored, and reported.
