Role OverviewThe Safety & Training Supervisor will lead, design, develop, and implement initial and recurrent training programs for transportation personnel. They will supervise driver trainers, recruit and train new drivers, and provide ongoing training and performance evaluations. The role requires strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to respond to unanticipated events and ensure excellence in customer service.
What You Will Do
The Safety & Training Supervisor will lead and design training programs, supervise driver trainers, recruit and train new drivers, provide classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel training, and administer the company's random drug/alcohol testing program.

Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Some college preferred
- 3 years as a Trainer in school bus transportation industry desired
- Supervisory experience preferred
- SBDI certification required
- Commercial Driver's License with Passenger and School Bus Endorsements required
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) and transportation-related software
