Job Description
The primary role for this sales position will be the acquisition, disposal, marketing, and information management of Allied Equipment in MacAllister’s Rental Services rental fleet.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business preferred, marketing or related field or the equivalent in direct industry experience.
  • High School Degree Required.
  • High ethical standards and conduct.
  • Minimum of 2 years sales experience.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to discuss components and capabilities with customers.
  • Capable of running all types of construction equipment as well as inspecting equipment to verify current condition.
  • Dedicated self-starter with the ability to work independently without the need for daily direct supervision and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Strong verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills and listening skills.
  • A team player possessing the ability to professionally work with customers, vendors, peers and co-workers as well as the ability to develop strong, long term relationships.
  • Strong customer service skills and a thorough understanding of Price, Quality and Turnaround principles.
  • Ability to manage multiple situations and priorities simultaneously, guiding each situation from beginning to end to the desired positive outcome.
  • A working knowledge of the Caterpillar product line. This includes attachments.
