Role Overview

Big O Sales Advisors perform customer service and sales duties in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with all company programs, policies, and procedures, ensuring proper customer education and follow through on customer maintenance and repairs. This role is in-person at a Big O Tires Store in Jefferson City, Missouri. The Sales Advisor will work with customers, coworkers, and supervisors to provide excellent service, promote sales, and maintain store appearance. The role requires strong verbal communication skills, sales abilities, and the ability to work in outdoor weather conditions.

What You Will Do

The Sales Advisor will monitor customer service areas, host waiting customers, provide fast and friendly customer service, handle complaints, inspect vehicles, promote sales, and conduct efficient and accurate sales transactions. The role also involves preparing sales documentation, managing ticket average and profitability, and supporting store operations.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials
  • Ability to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery

  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Ability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles
  • Availability to work holidays, weekends, and after regular business hours as needed
  • Ability and willingness to work with hazardous materials
  • Ability to consistently work in outdoor weather conditions
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language
  • Ability to meet company requirements including successful pre-employment screenings
