Job Description
The Chefs' Warehouse is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver outstanding customer service and build strong relationships with restaurants, caterers, hotels, and retail establishments. The Sales Associate will generate sales, build customer portfolio, travel to existing and prospective customers, and showcase the company's products.

Requirements

  • Grow revenue through new business opportunities and expanding relationships with existing accounts
  • Build customer portfolio by compiling lists of prospective customers
  • Travel throughout assigned territory and call on existing and prospective customers
  • Present products using samples or catalogs to highlight key features and benefits
  • Quote prices and credit terms to prepare contracts for orders obtained
  • Maintain detailed records of business transactions and update expense reports
  • Collaborate with inside sales representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date
  • Track stock levels to align product availability with customer demand
  • Develop and maintain relationships with purchasing contracts rooted in trust and built for long-term collaboration
