Role OverviewThe Sales Representative Trainee position is an entry-level sales role within J.R. Simplot Company's Global Food. Trainees will grow their sales skills in one of the largest privately owned companies in America. The role involves attending product trainings, learning sales practices, and traveling to multiple markets within the program timeframe.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include attending product trainings, learning sales practices, touring facilities, building internal relationships, and traveling to multiple markets. Trainees will also be responsible for fully embracing and becoming proficient with the Simplot sales process, Simplot products, and market strategies.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a 4-year college or university
- Combination of education, training, and/or experience
- Demonstrated understanding of sales and foodservice industry knowledge
- Dynamic personality, quick learner, positive attitude, great work ethic, and flexibility
- Ability to multi-task and manage unexpected demands
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Presentation
- Self-motivation and ability to influence others while being professional in conduct and presentation
