Role OverviewThe Sales Tax Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant sales and use tax reporting across multiple states while supporting the organization's broader accounting operations.
What You Will Do
Calculate multi-state sales tax, organize and update company tax files, determine states/regions where sales & use tax is applicable, verify tax calculations, prepare necessary paperwork, and maintain cost accounting system.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant subject
- 3-5 years of proven work experience as a Tax/Cost Accountant, analyst or preparer
- Understanding of nexus/economical nexus and how it is applied
- Experience with Sales & Use tax across multiple states
- Experience with direct mail a plus
- Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
- Familiarity with accounting software
- Excellent Microsoft office skills (Microsoft Excel specifically)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
