Role OverviewJoin Northern Manhattan Improvement Corporation (NMIC) as a Salesforce Administrator during a major Salesforce transformation. The successful candidate will play a key role in building sustainable internal Salesforce capacity as NMIC transitions from implementation to long-term ownership of the platform. The Salesforce Administrator will support the implementation, maintenance, and day-to-day operation of NMIC’s Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud (NPC) environment and related data systems.
What You Will Do
Assist with Salesforce configuration, updates, and enhancements, including flows, validation rules, page layouts, and permission sets. Provide helpdesk support for staff using Salesforce and related tools. Troubleshoot system issues and respond to user requests. Deliver onboarding and training for system users. Monitor and improve data quality through validation and cleanup. Build and maintain reports and dashboards. Support data analysis for program performance and reporting.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, preferably in a nonprofit setting with either Nonprofit Cloud (NPC) or Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP). They will have strong core Salesforce administration experience and demonstrated ability to learn nonprofit data models. The successful candidate will have a strong ability to troubleshoot system issues and provide user support, strong Excel skills, and comfort working with datasets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator
- Flow Builder experience
- User management, profiles, permission sets, role hierarchy, sharing rules, and Organization-Wide Defaults experience
- Custom objects, custom fields, record types, and page layouts experience
- Reports and dashboards experience
- Data import and export using Data Loader and Data Import Wizard experience
- Data quality, deduplication, validation rules, and routine data cleanup procedures experience
- Salesforce Administrator certification or willingness to obtain
