Role OverviewThe Marlin Alliance is seeking a forward-thinking Salesforce Developer to provide client support to our Navy client. This is a hybrid role and applicants must have the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance. As a Salesforce Developer for the Joint Tactical Networking Center (JTNC), you will report to the Software Solutions & Innovations Directorate (SSID) Directorate Lead and Deputy. The Salesforce developer will be responsible for developing and customizing Salesforce solutions to meet our organization’s needs.
What You Will Do
Design and develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, client requirements, and company goals. Collaborate with project managers and other developers to create scalable, efficient solutions on the Salesforce platform. Implement Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and the Lightning Component Framework.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must currently have or be eligible to obtain a Secret security clearance. Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance indoctrinate into Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) control systems desired. Experience leading Salesforce projects for Federal Customers like the Department of Defense (DoD) (e.g., Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps) is highly preferred.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field
- 3 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality
- Proficient with Apex, Visualforce, and Salesforce Lightning
- Experience with Salesforce Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and integrations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience leading Salesforce projects for Federal Customers like the Department of Defense (DoD) (e.g., Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps)
