Role OverviewRCG is seeking a Salesforce Technical Architect to support a potential federal government contract in Northern Virginia. The ideal candidate is a hands-on architect with deep Salesforce expertise, strong leadership skills, and experience supporting federal government environments.
What You Will Do
Define and maintain the overall Salesforce technical architecture and roadmap. Design scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce solutions aligned with business and mission requirements. Lead Salesforce solution design, implementation, modernization, and migration efforts.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of Salesforce experience
- 3–5 years of experience serving as a Salesforce Technical Architect or in a similar architecture leadership role
- Salesforce Application Architect, System Architect, or Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification required
- Minimum of 4 years supporting civilian federal government agencies
- Demonstrated experience designing enterprise Salesforce solutions, integrations, and data models
- Experience supporting Agile software development environments
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security architecture, governance, and best practices
- Experience with release management, source control, and deployment technologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 5 Background Investigation
