Role OverviewEntry-level sales position supporting the DIY business, achieving sales and service objectives, and maintaining store product and operational standards. The role involves providing excellent selling experiences, delivering parts to customers, and performing inventory processes.
What You Will Do
Provide excellent selling experiences for DIY customer visits and phone calls, achieve personal sales goals, and help the store achieve its sales goals. Perform inventory processes, including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, and back stock.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have basic driving and navigation ability, ability to use delivery board system, friendly communication, and ability to locate and stock parts. Prior experience in sales, automotive parts, or fleet safety certification is preferred.
Requirements
- Speak and write English (Spanish a plus)
- Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, peers, and management
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Fleet safety certification
- Valid driver's license
