Job Description
North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) provides vital wholesale water, wastewater and solid waste management services. This position supports the sample login process, provides customer service, and assists with laboratory testing.

Requirements

  • Serve as point of contact and provide customer service to internal and external laboratory clients
  • Assist sample control personnel with their workload as needed
  • Review work orders in LIMS to ensure information coincides with that on the Chain of Custody form
  • Ensure proper preservation, storage, retention and disposal of samples
  • Clean and prepare sample containers according to laboratory protocols
  • Prepare sample kits including labeling of containers and tracking of coolers
  • Maintain equipment in laboratory to ensure proper cleanliness, the accuracy of measurements and functional operation
  • Various departmental duties as assigned by Supervisor
