This position is responsible for the sanitation/cleaning of the hatchery: sanitizing hatchers, setters, trays, racks, buggies, and all other hatchery equipment.
What You Will Do
Clean and sanitize hatchers and setters, clean and sanitize all hatchery equipment using a high pressure and regular water hose, monitor and record temperatures in the hatchers and setters, maintain foot pans and hand sanitizers, operate macerator, operate tray washer, tray, and set eggs, pull chicks, operate chick counter, pack, or unpack eggs and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Applicants with previous agricultural or production experience will be considered preferred. Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species (chickens, ducks, birds, etc.). Must be willing to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity and Company Animal Welfare Guidelines.
Requirements
- Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer
- No additional job gaps in employment greater than 6 months in the past 36 months
- Previous work history will not apply to applicants who have been full time students consecutively for the last 36 months
- Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days
- Rehire Rule of no more than 3 times worked at Cobb/Tyson Foods
