Sanitation

The Sanitation role is responsible for maintaining production and receiving areas clean by cleaning and sanitizing processing equipment, and maintaining the areas in accordance with approved quality and sanitation procedures. The role requires maintaining equipment and complying with food safety regulations to provide safe quality product to customers.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include cleaning lint, dust, oil, and grease from production equipment, cleaning processing tanks and vats, and maintaining daily operational production efficiency and sanitation duties.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will possess good reading and math skills, mechanical aptitude, and good communication skills. They will also have prior sanitation experience in a food manufacturing facility and be willing to participate in training new hires and/or transfers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• 1 year of experience
• Prior sanitation experience in a food manufacturing facility preferred
• Good reading and math skills
• Mechanical aptitude
• Good hand & eye coordination
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
