Job Description
Job Description: Sanitation Opr PR05 - 3rd Shift at Tyson Foods in Enid, OK. Responsible for operating and disassembling equipment, cleaning, sanitizing work areas, and setting up equipment for inspection and start-up.
Requirements
6 months of work history with one employer in the past 24 months
Willing and able to operate production machine equipment
Willing and able to inspect and monitor product
Willing and able to disassemble equipment for cleaning, sanitizing work areas and setting up equipment for inspection and start-up
Willing and able to breakdown and set-up equipment when needed
Willing and able to clean assigned equipment in safe and accurate manner using high pressure hoses
Willing and able to use chemical cleaners to foam and clean all areas of production
Willing and able to examine common machine parts and components for excessive wear
Willing and able to prepare equipment and machines for reassemble after completion of cleaning
Willing and able to ensure that all guards removed are properly replaced after cleaning
Willing and able to follow all necessary procedures to meet USDA and Quality Control Regulations
Willing and able to communicate/coordinate with other departments to ensure optimum, efficient utilization of non-running time to properly maintain company's equipment
Willing and able to properly wear personal protective equipment as required and provided by the company and in accordance with GMP's/company standards
Willing and able to ensure safe and proper use of tools and equipment; ensures hand tools are free of defects
Willing and able to maintain neat and orderly work area, including proper storage/disposal of solvents, paints, and other cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA, EPA and other regulatory agencies and company policy
Willing and able to position will require Lock Out Tag Out responsibilities for safe operation
Willing and able to obtain Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification
Willing and able to perform any other work as assigned by supervisor
Willing and able to push, pull, and carry up to 75 lbs. repeatedly or more if required
Willing and able to stand and walk on hard surface for up to 12 hours per day
Willing and able to work in cold/hot temperatures ranging 45-100 degrees
Willing and able to perform repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, gripping, pushing and pulling
Willing and able to reach high and low levels, frequently
Willing and able to climb step ladders and/or stairs
Willing and able to work overtime and weekends
