Job Description
Responsible for rinsing, foaming, and sanitizing equipment, lines, walls, and machines in a processing plant, following safety procedures and written specifications.

Requirements

  • Follow all safety precautions and proper procedures when using chemicals for cleaning and sanitizing.
  • Follow all plant and sanitation safety procedures including LOTO, food safety, ladder safety, and power equipment.
  • Identify and report suspicious or abnormal situations to supervisor or plant management official.
  • Follow written specifications for color coding of edible and non-edible food.
  • Follow written specifications for Standard Sanitation Operational Procedures (SSOP's) for each piece of equipment assigned.
