SAP ABAP / RAP- Senior Application Developer

Capgemini is seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP Developer with expertise in SAP S/4HANA and the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) to join our growing SAP practice. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise SAP solutions leveraging both traditional ABAP technologies and modern SAP development frameworks.

What You Will Do

Design, develop, and support SAP ABAP solutions within SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments. Lead development efforts utilizing SAP RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP). Create and enhance scalable applications leveraging SAP S/4HANA extensibility frameworks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of SAP ABAP development experience
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with SAP RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP)
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA development and extensibility
• Experience with SAP screen programming technologies including: Module Pool, Programming, RF Screen Programming, Web Dynpro ABAP
• Experience with SAP enhancement technologies including: BADIs, User Exits, Enhancement Frameworks, Implicit and Explicit Enhancements
• Experience with integration technologies including: ALE/IDOC, BAPIs, RFCs, SOAP/Web Services, OData Services
• Experience with SAP forms technologies including: SmartForms, Adobe Forms, SAP Scripts
• Experience developing and supporting SAP Workflow solutions
• Hands-on experience with LSMW and SAP Data Migration methodologies
• Strong knowledge of SAP HANA
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across business and technical teams
