Role OverviewContribute to implementation project activities, translate business requirements to technical solutions, and oversee the development of new functionality as an SAP FICO Consultant at Hydro Extrusions. The role involves configuring the system, performing and supporting test cycles, providing training to key users, and resolving defects. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Team Lead and the Stream Solution Architect.

The SAP FICO Consultant will be responsible for contributing to implementation project activities, translating business requirements to technical solutions, and overseeing the development of new functionality. They will configure the system, perform and support test cycles, provide training to key users, and resolve defects.

- Five years plus working with SAP or variant in a hands-on project environment
- Experience in enterprise-level SAP projects using waterfall methodology throughout the whole life cycle with repeated and demonstrable success
- Expert level understanding of the SAP product suite
- Extensive experience with SAP configuration, including workflows, validation rules, and security controls
- Experience defining business requirements, writing functional design documentation
- Expert level experience of SAP modules and underlying architecture, design
- Experience in designing SAP software components
- Experience integrating SAP with different business systems, as well as working with integration tools
- Expert level understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies
- Experience in greenfield, brownfield, and rollout projects, project phases, SAP Activate and Agile project methodologies
- Experience in manufacturing industries, preferably metal and/or automotive
- College or University (IT /Business Degree or Equivalent)
- Strong spoken and written English
- Expert SAP knowledge

- ABAP Debug experience
- Integration understanding (iDocs, EDI messages)
- Skilled Office 365 user
- Strong oral and written communication skills

- Able to travel up to 50%
