Role OverviewSets up and operates metal sawing machines to cut metal stock to dimensions, and performs activities in support of the team lead, including training, inventory, and enforcement of safety procedures.
What You Will Do
Operates machines such as hacksaw, bandsaw, circular saw, to cut metal stock to dimensions, and assists the Receiving Department with unloading incoming steel deliveries.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a CNC certificate or other technical coursework. They will be able to troubleshoot and problem-solve, plan what needs to be done to meet production schedules, and have patience for training.
