Role OverviewTo perform advanced-level Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition network (SCADA network) Engineering oversight for the Public Utilities Department, including all associated hardware and software applications, network appliances, network fiber optic connections, the department’s radio telemetry systems and supervision of a group of technically trained staff members who supply continued application support and maintenance.
What You Will Do
Manages Department’s information communication and SCADA systems. Develops and designs communications hardware and software solutions to meet complex requirements between equipment provided with various communication technologies. Performs or directs database administration of relational database management systems (including planning, modeling, installing, upgrading, implementing, testing, tuning, and maintaining) in a multi-tiered client/server environment.
