Role OverviewPerform field services for soils, foundations, pavement sections, reinforced concrete, structural masonry, wood framing, structural steel and other special inspections. Coordinate with contractors and NOVA staff regarding execution of required services and result of testing and/or inspections.
What You Will Do
Prepare detailed and complete daily field reports. Perform HMA quality assurance lab testing.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Strong knowledge of SCDOT construction standards and procedures. 2+ years of experience in construction inspection with a focus on roadway field inspection and HMA quality assurance lab testing.
Requirements
- SCDOT Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) Level 1 Quality Control (QC) Technician certification
- 2+ years of experience in construction inspection with a focus on roadway field inspection and HMA quality assurance lab testing
- Strong knowledge of SCDOT construction standards and procedures
