Role OverviewAs a Scheduler, you will coordinate product movements via various modes of transportation, ensuring correct type, quantity, and timing of the load/unload activity. You will work with traders, refinery personnel, and logistics operators to develop a schedule and manage inventory positions to balance market conditions, wholesale forecasts, production schedules, and logistics constraints.
What You Will Do
Your main responsibilities will include scheduling product movements, managing inventory positions, communicating with stakeholders, and adjusting the schedule when conflicting objectives disrupt planned movements.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of experience in Logistics, Transportation, Business/Financial Analysis, Marine Operations, Military, Oil & Gas/Refining/Petrochemical Industry
- Able and willing to manage assigned operations 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays as needed
- Able and willing to work in-person at the Valero San Antonio Headquarters
