Role OverviewWe are hiring a School-Age Childcare Assistant for our After School Program at Ekron Elementary School. The successful candidate will work with children aged 5-12, facilitating hands-on activities, providing a safe and healthy environment, and acting as a positive role model. The position is part-time, non-exempt, and follows the school calendar.
What You Will Do
The School-Age Childcare Assistant will facilitate hands-on activities, provide a safe and healthy environment, and act as a positive role model for children in the program. They will also observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.

Requirements
- 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year of experience working with kids under 13 preferred
- Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.
