Role Overview

We are hiring School-Age Childcare Assistants for our Before and After School Programs at Marie Curie Institute. The successful candidate will work with children, helping them learn through play and positive experiences. The position is part-time, non-exempt, and follows the school calendar.

What You Will Do

Facilitate hands-on activities, provide a safe and healthy environment, and act as a positive role model for children. Observe state guidelines, program policies, and host school policies. Support program operations, including attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.

Requirements

  • 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 year of experience working with kids under 13 preferred
  • Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
  • Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
  • Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.
