Role OverviewThe School Age Childcare Assistant will work with children in the Before and After School Programs at Knowlton Township Elementary School in Delaware, NJ. The role involves facilitating hands-on activities, providing a safe and healthy environment, and acting as a positive role model for children. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive, professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills when working with children, families, and colleagues.
What You Will Do
The Before and After School Program team is responsible for facilitating hands-on activities, providing a safe and healthy environment, and acting as a positive role model for children. The team will also observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.

Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 1 year of childcare experience preferred but not required
- Ability to meet physical demands, including bending, stretching, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds
- Ability to pass all required state background checks
