Role OverviewWe are hiring a School-Age Childcare Assistant for our Before and After School Program at Oaklyn Public School. The ideal candidate loves working with kids, is energetic, kind, and patient, and enjoys encouraging children's curiosity, creativity, and confidence. This position is especially well-suited for parents, education majors, or future teachers looking for hands-on experience with children and classroom management.
What You Will Do
As a School-Age Childcare Assistant, you will facilitate hands-on activities, provide a safe and healthy environment, and act as a positive role model for children in the program. You will also observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies, and support program operations.

Requirements
- High School Diploma and/or 1 year of childcare experience preferred but not required
- Ability to meet physical demands, including bending, stretching, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds
- Ability to pass all required state background checks
