Role OverviewWe're hiring a School-Age Childcare Assistant for our Before and After School Program at Dixie Elementary School. The ideal candidate loves working with kids, is energetic, kind, and patient, and enjoys encouraging children's curiosity, creativity, and confidence. This part-time, non-exempt position follows the school calendar, with opportunities for morning, afternoon, or both programs.
What You Will Do
As a School-Age Childcare Assistant, you will provide exceptional care to school-age children (ages 5–12) enrolled in our program. You will be responsible for engaging, safe, and fun activities, and ensuring the program reflects Healthy Kids Program's model. You will also work with teammates to communicate effectively with families and provide a supportive environment.

Requirements
- 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferably 1 year of experience working with kids under 13
- Medically cleared of any communicable diseases including TB
- Must be warm, friendly, and upbeat
- Exceptional people skills, professional, reliable, and prompt
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.), and do whatever it takes to keep up with the children
