Role OverviewWe are hiring a School-Age Childcare Assistant for our Before and After School Program at Dixie Elementary School location. The ideal candidate is someone who loves working with kids, is energetic, kind, and patient, and enjoys encouraging children's curiosity, creativity, and confidence. The role involves working with a team to provide exceptional care to school-age children (ages 5–12) and communicating effectively with families.
What You Will Do
The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging kids in fun and safe activities, maintaining a well-organized and well-stocked site, and ensuring compliance with program requirements. They will also be expected to work well with teammates and communicate effectively with families.

Requirements
- 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferably 1 year of experience working with kids under 13
- Medically cleared of any communicable diseases including TB
- Warm, friendly, and upbeat
- Exceptional people skills, professional, reliable, and prompt
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.), and do whatever it takes to keep up with the children
