Role OverviewWe are hiring a School-Age Childcare Assistant for our Before and After School Program at Preston Veteran's Memorial School for the 2026–2027 school year. This position is well-suited for parents, education majors, and retirees who enjoy working with children and building relationships.
What You Will Do
Facilitate hands-on activities, provide a safe and healthy environment, and act as a positive role model for children in the program. You will also observe state guidelines and program policies.

Requirements
- 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year of experience working with kids under 13 preferred
- Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.
