Role OverviewWe are hiring a School-Age Childcare Assistant for our Before and After School Program at Oaklyn Public School. The ideal candidate is someone who loves working with kids, is energetic, kind, and patient, and enjoys encouraging children's curiosity, creativity, and confidence. The role involves facilitating hands-on activities, providing a safe and healthy environment, and acting as a positive role model for children in the program.
What You Will Do
The successful candidate will facilitate hands-on activities, provide a safe and healthy environment, and act as a positive role model for children in the program. They will also observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies, and support program operations.

Requirements
- High School Diploma and/or 1 year of childcare experience preferred but not required
- Candidates must successfully pass all required state background checks
- Requires the ability to meet physical demands, including bending, stretching, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds, and actively engaging with energetic children
