Role OverviewWe are hiring a School-Age Childcare Assistant for our Before and After School Programs at Frelinghuysen Elementary School. The position is part-time, non-exempt, and follows the school calendar. The ideal candidate demonstrates a positive, professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills when working with children, families, and colleagues.
What You Will Do
Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment, and act as a positive role model for children in the program. Certain positions may also perform management functions such as accurate attendance records, registration, and staffing.

Requirements
- High School Diploma and/or 1 year of childcare experience preferred but not required
- Candidates must successfully pass all required state background checks
- Ability to meet physical demands, including bending, stretching, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds
- Ability to actively engage with energetic children
