Role OverviewWe are hiring a School-Age Childcare Assistant for our Before and After School Program at Franklin Elementary School. The ideal candidate loves working with kids, is reliable, and enjoys encouraging children's curiosity and creativity. This part-time position follows the school calendar and offers opportunities for morning, afternoon, or both programs.
What You Will Do
As a School-Age Childcare Assistant, you will facilitate hands-on activities, provide a safe and healthy environment, and act as a positive role model for children in the program. You will also support program operations, including attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.

Requirements
- 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year of experience working with kids under 13 preferred
- Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.
