School Age Childcare Assistant Site Director – Before & After School

This part-time position is for a School Age Childcare Assistant Site Director to work with children in a before and after school program setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care, working well with teammates, and communicating effectively with families. The position is well-suited for parents, education majors, or retirees who enjoy working with children and giving back to the community.

What You Will Do

The main day-to-day responsibilities and outcomes of this role include ensuring the program is engaging, safe, and fun for children, maintaining accurate records, and operating the site in compliance with regulations. The successful candidate will also be responsible for staffing, inventory management, and ensuring the site is well-stocked with necessary supplies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or early childhood coursework preferred
• 1–3 years of experience working with children in a school, childcare, camp, or youth program setting
• Some experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred
• Familiarity with before- and after-school program environments a plus
• Knowledge of state childcare licensing or school-age care regulations helpful but not required
• Calm, flexible, and resourceful in a fast-paced environment
• Able to pass required background and fingerprint clearances
