Role OverviewWe are hiring a School-Age Childcare Assistant Site Director for our Before and After School Programs at our Frelinghuysen Elementary School location for the 2026–2027 school year. The ideal candidate will love working with kids, bringing energy, kindness, and patience to each day, and enjoys encouraging children's curiosity, creativity, and confidence.
What You Will Do
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care, working well with teammates, and communicating effectively with families. Opportunities may be available for morning, afternoon, or both programs.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–3 years of experience working with children in a school, childcare, camp, or youth program setting
- Some experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred
- Familiarity with before- and after-school program environments a plus
- Knowledge of state childcare licensing or school-age care regulations helpful but not required
- Calm, flexible, and resourceful in a fast-paced environment
- Able to pass required background and fingerprint clearances
