Role OverviewWe are hiring a School-Age Childcare Lead for our After School Program at Wells Memorial School for the 2026–2027 school year. The successful candidate will work with children and help them learn through play and positive experiences. They will be part of a mission-driven team that provides childcare for school-age children (ages 5–12) and is committed to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion.
What You Will Do
The School-Age Childcare Lead will facilitate hands-on activities, provide a safe and fun environment, and act as a positive role model for children in the program. They will also support program operations, including attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.

Requirements
- 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year of experience working with kids under 13 preferred
- Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day
