Role OverviewWe are hiring a School-Age Childcare Lead for our After School Program at Wells Memorial School for the 2026–2027 school year. The ideal candidate will love working with kids, be reliable, organized, and committed to providing exceptional care. The School-Age Childcare Lead will facilitate hands-on activities, provide a safe and healthy environment, and support program operations.
What You Will Do
The School-Age Childcare Lead will facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, provide a safe and healthy environment, and support program operations. This includes facilitating activities, observing state guidelines, and supporting program operations.

Requirements
- 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year of experience working with kids under 13 preferred
- Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.
