Role OverviewThe School Age Childcare Lead Teacher will work with children aged 5–12 in the After School Program at Wells Memorial School in Harrisville, NH. The role involves facilitating hands-on activities, providing a safe and healthy environment, and acting as a positive role model. The position is part-time, non-exempt, and follows the school calendar.
What You Will Do
Facilitate hands-on activities, provide a safe and healthy environment, and act as a positive role model for children in the program. Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies. Support program operations, including attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.

Requirements
- 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year of experience working with kids under 13 preferred
- Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day
