Role OverviewWe are hiring a School-Age Childcare Program Director for our After School Program at Akron Elementary School. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and a passion for building relationships, supporting student growth, and being part of a mission-driven team.
What You Will Do
The Program Director will facilitate hands-on activities, provide a safe and healthy environment, and act as a positive role model for children in the program. They will also observe state guidelines, program policies, and host school policies.

Requirements
- Associate degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or related field plus 2 years of experience working with children under 13, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Two years of college with 18 credits in a related field plus 2 years of experience working with children under 13, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- NY State Children’s Program Administrator Credential plus 2 years of relevant experience.
- School-Age Child Care Credential or equivalent office-recognized credential plus 2 years of relevant experience.
