Role Overview

This part-time role functions as a Site Director–level leadership position within a Vermont DCF licensed school-age childcare and before/after school program setting. The Program Director will provide leadership, support site teams, maintain program quality and compliance, and ensure safe, engaging environments for children and families.

The Program Director will lead school-based programs, directly impact program quality and success, and work in a mission-driven organization focused on children and families.

Requirements

  • Must be 18+ years old
  • Associate’s degree or higher
  • Ability to meet Vermont DCF school-age program leadership requirements
  • Must also meet ONE of the following:
  • 10+ months experience in school-age childcare or youth programming
  • Vermont Afterschool Professional Credential
  • Vermont Program Director Credential
  • Vermont Teacher Licensure
  • Vermont On-the-Job Training Certificate
  • Master’s degree in a youth-related field
