Role Overview

The Site Director oversees all aspects of the after school program and summer camp, ensuring high-quality care and a positive experience for children, families, and staff. The role is a year-round position with varying summer hours. The Site Director will plan and lead engaging activities, manage daily operations, and maintain clear communication with parents and caregivers.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or related field plus 2 years of experience working with children under 13, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Two years of college with 18 credits in a related field plus 2 years of experience working with children under 13, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • NY State Children’s Program Administrator Credential plus 2 years of relevant experience.
  • School-Age Child Care Credential or equivalent office-recognized credential plus 2 years of relevant experience.
