Role OverviewThe Childcare Site Director will lead a team to create a safe and fun environment for school-age children (ages 5–12) enrolled in the Before and After School Program at Kendall Elementary School. The role involves ensuring program compliance, planning engaging activities, and maintaining clear communication with parents and caregivers. The Site Director will work part-time (29–30 hours/week) with a schedule that follows the school calendar.

The main responsibilities of the Childcare Site Director include ensuring program compliance, planning and leading engaging activities, overseeing daily operational tasks, and maintaining clear communication with parents and caregivers. The Site Director will also work with the direct report to share updates, address concerns, and support a positive team environment.

Requirements
- Associate degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or related field plus 2 years of experience working with children under 13, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Two years of college with 18 credits in a related field plus 2 years of experience working with children under 13, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- NY State Children’s Program Administrator Credential plus 2 years of relevant experience.
- School-Age Child Care Credential or equivalent office-recognized credential plus 2 years of relevant experience.
