School Age Childcare Site Supervisor – After School

We're hiring a School Age Childcare Site Supervisor for our Before and After School Program at Fonda-Fultonville Elementary School. The ideal candidate loves working with kids, is energetic, kind, and patient, and enjoys encouraging children's curiosity, creativity, and confidence. This part-time, non-exempt position is perfect for parents, education majors, or retirees who enjoy staying active and mentoring children.

What You Will Do

As a Site Supervisor, you'll facilitate hands-on activities, provide a safe and healthy environment, and act as a positive role model for children. You'll also observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies, and support program operations.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or its equivalent; and two years of direct experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• A School-age Child Care Credential or other Office recognized credential specific to the school-age developmental period, and one year of experience working with children less than 13 years of age.
• Associate's degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field.
• Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.
