School Age Childcare Site Supervisor – After School

We are hiring a School Age Childcare Site Supervisor for our After School Program at AJ Smith Elementary School. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating hands-on activities, providing a safe and healthy environment, and supporting program operations. This is a part-time, non-exempt position that follows the school calendar.

What You Will Do

The Site Supervisor will facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, provide a safe and healthy environment, and act as a positive role model for children in the program. They will also observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies, and support program operations.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or its equivalent and two years of direct experience working with children under 13 years of age
• A School-age Child Care Credential or other Office recognized credential specific to the school-age developmental period, and one year of experience working with children less than 13 years of age
• Associate's degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field
• Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day
