School-Age Childcare Site Supervisor – After School

The School-Age Childcare Site Supervisor will work with children and help them learn through play and positive experiences. The role requires energy, kindness, and patience, and the ability to encourage children's curiosity, creativity, and confidence. The supervisor will work well with teammates and communicate effectively with families.

What You Will Do

The main responsibilities of the role include facilitating hands-on activities, providing a safe and healthy environment, and acting as a positive role model for children. The supervisor will also observe state guidelines and host school policies, and support program operations.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or its equivalent; and two years of direct experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• A School-age Child Care Credential or other Office recognized credential specific to the school-age developmental period, and one year of experience working with children less than 13 years of age.
• Associate's degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field.
• Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.
