Role Overview

We are hiring a School-Age Childcare Site Supervisor for our Before and After School Program at William H. Barkley School for the 2026–2027 school year. The successful candidate will work with children and help them learn through play and positive experiences. They will be responsible for facilitating hands-on activities, providing a safe and healthy environment, and supporting program operations.

What You Will Do

The Site Supervisor will facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, provide a safe and healthy environment, and act as a positive role model for children in the program. They will also observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or its equivalent; and two years of direct experience working with children under 13 years of age.
  • A School-age Child Care Credential or other Office recognized credential specific to the school-age developmental period, and one year of experience working with children less than 13 years of age.
  • Associate’s degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field.
