Role OverviewWe're hiring School Age Childcare Staff for our Before and After School Program at Pittsburgh Minadeo Elementary School and Pittsburgh Manchester Elementary School. The ideal candidate loves working with kids, is energetic, kind, and patient, and enjoys encouraging children's curiosity, creativity, and confidence. This part-time, non-exempt position is perfect for parents seeking a schedule that aligns with the school day, education majors or future teachers, or retirees who enjoy staying active, mentoring children, and giving back to the community.
What You Will Do
Facilitate hands-on activities, provide a safe and healthy environment, and act as a positive role model for children in the program. You will also observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies, and support program operations.

Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 or more years of experience working with children under 13
- Must pass a full background check, including fingerprinting and reference checks
- Must be medically fit to perform job duties which includes a clear TB.
