Role OverviewWe are hiring School-Age Childcare Staff for our Before and After School Program at Mercer Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year. The position is part-time, non-exempt, and follows the school calendar. The ideal candidate loves working with kids, is reliable, organized, and committed to providing exceptional care. The position is well-suited for parents, education majors, or future teachers looking for hands-on experience with children and classroom management.
What You Will Do
Facilitate hands-on activities, provide a safe and healthy environment, observe state guidelines and policies, and support program operations. Responsibilities include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.

Requirements
- 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year of experience working with kids under 13 preferred
- Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.
