Role OverviewWe are hiring a Childcare Counselor for our After School Programs at Sun Valley Elementary School. The successful candidate will work with children aged 5-12, providing a safe, healthy, and fun environment. The role involves facilitating hands-on activities, observing state guidelines, and supporting program operations.
What You Will Do
The School-Age Counselor will facilitate hands-on activities, provide a safe and healthy environment, and act as a positive role model for children. They will also observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.

Requirements
- 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age preferred
- Medically cleared of any communicable diseases including TB
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.), and maintain active supervision while participating in children's routines and activities
