The ideal candidate loves working with children and helping them learn through play and positive experiences. The role involves facilitating hands-on activities, providing a safe and healthy environment, and acting as a positive role model for children.
What You Will Do
The School-Age Counselor will facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, provide a safe and healthy environment, and observe state guidelines and program policies. They will also support program operations, including attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.

Requirements
- 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age preferred
- Medically cleared of any communicable diseases including TB
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.), and maintain active supervision while participating in children's routines and activities
