Job Description
The School Athletic Director will be responsible for administering the extra-curricular athletic programs, supervising staff, and managing facilities. They will also be responsible for coordinating public events, developing and implementing policies, and overseeing summer programming.

Requirements

  • Administering the extra-curricular athletic programs
  • Supervising licensed and non-licensed staff in Athletics
  • Maintaining files and records required by policy, regulation, law and good practice
  • Implementing board policies and advising the administration on regulatory matters related to athletics
  • Assessing department needs through consultation with students, staff and parents
  • Evaluating the extra-curricular athletic programs and engaging in long-term planning
  • Developing and updating handbooks, brochures and policy manuals
  • Informs the school community about extracurricular athletic programs
  • Staying current on research, issues, and regulations related to athletic programs
